So you want to protag & validhunt? You want to not immediately die as antag? You want to do neither but for god's sakes you're not dying again for the 15th time because some greysuit had 3 more minutes in maintenance than you and you bumped into him at a inconvenient time? Well here's a guide for you!

"How Fight"

For the sake of the guide, let's assume you know the basic mechanics and controls of the game.

One of the most important parts is knowing your matchups, limits, strengths and weaknesses. This seems pretty obvious but when you're wandering around the station you're likely not thinking about it. Keep this in your mind whenever possible.

Matchups

Let's be honest, you're not winning every fight. No matter how robust you are, or how weak an enemy is, there will always be fights that are not turned in your favor.

Controlling Factors

When fighting, there are 4 factors you should consider about a potential or current enemy:

- Job

- Species

- Current item(s)

- Clothes

- Surroundings

First, Job. Job is less of a fight factor, but a controlling factor for the other ones. If your enemy can be confirmed as the captain, they'll likely have the captain's armor, laser & sword, all access ID, all access radio, and picking a fight with them could alert security. High risk, high reward. Job should be the main thing you should use to make an educated guess of what a person would and/or could have.
